We're back! Together with MPM/KMCB, we are holding our biennial Young Investigators in Parasitology Meeting (YIPs) on Sep 14-15, 2024 for junior PIs and postdocs who are transitioning to PI positions! Come join us for excellent panels & group discussions on all things to do with starting a new lab.

Agenda for the 2024 YIPS meeting
During our meeting, Junior PIs will have the chance to discuss multiple topics relevant to initiating an independent research program, among peers and with other established investigators in our field of parasitology.
We will cover topics such as Setting Priorities & Boundaries, Recruiting & Hiring, Effective Training, Mentoring & Motivation, Difficult conversations and Publication strategies & Funding timing. We will also have discussions about funding with Program Officers at NIH and NSF.
For postdoctoral fellows:
Although this meeting is aimed at junior faculty, we will also host at the end of the YIPs meeting a panel dedicated to transitioning into faculty positions. This will be held on Sunday afternoon before MPM starts.
